Is Gay Marriage Immoral Because the Bible Says So?

I’m a christian and I believe that gay people have just as much right to get married as straight people. God loves everyone regardless of their sexuality. I don’t believe that because you’re of a different sexual orientation that you go to hell.

I totally agree with this, though I do have to say, depending on the woman, you might not want to associate with her while she’s on her period.  Some of us tend to PMS hardcore.  Just a warning.

 Oh, the old testament? Because Christians are totally Jewish.

All of these verses except one are the old law which we are no longer under due to Jesus Christ.

23 Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. 24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,

(Galatians 3:23-25)

This is such as ignorant argument for people rivaling Christian beliefs on homosexuality. It’s used so often, and it is so uninformed!

Yes, I see Ephesians up there.  I do know that’s new testament.

“Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”

You’re going to use that verse in a negative connotation? Because I think if everyone followed that verse, the world would be a much more pleasant place.  How can you even begin to say replacing “cursing” with thanksgiving isn’t a good thing?

The new testament speaks against homosexuality.

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

I follow the new testament. I am a Christian.

A Time For Everything.

1There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—
    2A time to give birth and a time to die;
         A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
    3A time to kill and a time to heal;
         A time to tear down and a time to build up.
    4A time to weep and a time to laugh;
         A time to mourn and a time to dance.
    5A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
         A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.
    6A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
         A time to keep and a time to throw away.
    7A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
         A time to be silent and a time to speak.
    8A time to love and a time to hate;
         A time for war and a time for peace.
