Let me just think here for a second.

Do I really want to do photojournalism?

It has, indeed, been my passion since 8th grade, but lately it has not.  It’s not because I don’t love it or see the significance in it.  It’s just because…I don’t make the time for my photography.

What do I do daily?

  • Sleep
  • Eat
  • School
  • Theatre

— All in the name of Jesus

Okay. Cool. But don’t you make time for those things you love?

Where’s photography in my mix?

I love it. I do. I love the art of crafting a picture. I love light, and the beauty creates.  I love working alongside light, like a partner- in-crime.

But I don’t have an over-flowing passion for it right now.  The concept of it all? Yes. The practice? Apparently not as much.

So. Where does this leave me? For years, I’ve felt this was my calling, my talent. To disregard it is to discredit it.

Now what?
